Sports Slurping

Sports Slurping

Client: 7-Eleven | Category: Stores

Slurping has been going on unnoticed in backyards, bedrooms and 7-Eleven car parks with popularity continually growing across countries. Produced this promo site to make this an official sport.

This was an integrated campaign and traffic to the web site was driven via various ATL and BTL channels with a WAP site being developed by Vodafone Australia.

Arc Worldwide is the integrated marketing services agency of Leo Burnett. With this web site, established the online presence of its India office and successfully founded my 3rd global agency's online presence.

I visualized the scribble design style while designing the agencies power point template. This scribble was then transformed into the web site by the creative team.

Recognition

Wunderman underwent a global re-branding for its 50th anniversary celebration. In commemoration to that re-launched the Wunderman India web site as per the new brand identity.

This was also my final parting contribution to Wunderman on my last day with them.

November 3, 2009 in Timeline

  1. In January 2009 Arc Singapore used the Arc India template to launch their own regional web site and in March 2009 Arc Global changed their landing page to the Arc India template!

  2. By March 2009 had successfully re-branded and redesigned www.kyazoonga.com a ticketing portal for movies, cricket, live events and sports in India.

  3. May 2009 saw the launch of www.sportsslurping.com.au a slurping contest web site created for 7-Eleven Australia.

  4. June 2009 saw the launch of Piramal's new nutritional supplement Supractiv. Parallely launched the product web site with great fan fare.

  5. On 19th November the Sports Slurping website picked up a Bronze ADMA (Australian Direct Marketing Award) for Best Website / Microsite in Australia.

November 17, 2008 in Timeline

  1. On 9th April, launched ING Chances for Children a first of its kind facebook application. This applications supports the United Nation's Children's fund in three adopted countries: India, Brazil and Ethiopia.

  2. Launched the new Wunderman web site on 25th September, commemorating their new global brand identity.

  3. A new chapter began on 26th September, I joined Arc Worldwide / Leo Burnett as Business Director - Digital.

  4. 17th November saw history being made. Arc Worldwide India finally got it’s own web site. This was also the 3rd time that I founded a global agency's online presence. Earlier ones were Rediffusion - DY&R and Wunderman India.

  1. On 15th February launched a contest web site for Parle's new Strong Adult Mint - Xhale! The site was live for 2 months and got over 1000 registered users.

  2. 6th March - Launched www.castrolstarbandhan.com the very first eCRM website among loyalty programs in the lubricants industry.

  3. From August to October successfully standardized all email communication relating to King Club (the frequent flyer program of Kingfisher Airlines).

  4. As of 1st November took over as Head Digital Strategy for Wunderman India.
