During my relocation to Frankfurt am Main I freelanced with companies in India who needed guidance on how to go about setting up their digital services and also consulted with various Small and Medium Enterprise clients in Germany on their web site and social media concepts.
Eventually I joined the trio-group as an Online Concept Designer and worked on various proposals, campaign concepts, iPhone apps and website designs for leading German brands.

Having noticed the new Arc India web site, Arc Singapore relaunched their own website based on the Arc India template. They were then followed by Arc Global, who changed their landing page to the Arc India template.
For Leo Burnett Australia I produced www.sportsslurping.com.au a contest web site for 7-Eleven Australia's latest campaign. The website later went on to pick up a Bronze ADMA (Australian Direct Marketing Award) for Best Website / Microsite in Australia.
With Orchard Advertising, a Leo Burnett company I created the product website for Supractiv, a new nutritional supplement being launched by Piramal Healthcare.

Started the year with a project from ING Hong Kong, where I had to create an ING Chances for Children Facebook app. It was the first of its kind at that time as it donated money to the United Nation's Children's fund for every user profile installation.
As a farewell to Wunderman, I re-launched their website to commemorate their new global brand identity. After which I joined Arc Worldwide / Leo Burnett as Business Director - Digital.
My first project at Arc India was to launch their website. This was the 3rd time that I had founded a global agency's online presence. Earlier ones being Rediffusion - DY&R and Wunderman India.

Worked on my first contest web site for Parle's new Strong Adult Mint - Xhale. The contest was promoted via various on-ground events and lasted 2 months. After this I worked on my first eCRM project for Castrol India. Here I launched their loyalty program onto the Internet with www.castrolstarbandhan.com. The website went on to become the first online loyalty program in the lubricants industry.
After participating in a successful pitch process for the Kingfisher Airlines frequent flyer program - King Club. I lead the revamp of its email communication to members and guests.
Later on in the year I was promoted to Head Digital Strategy for Wunderman India.

Successfully created another online banner campaign for LIC and Taj Holidays. Both of which had came back to the agency with larger media budgets.
Designed and developed www.ingimasiapacific.com. With this website the ING Investment Management business units finally got their long awaited consolidated web identity for the Asia Pacific region.

Designed, developed and oversaw the execution of one my biggest online ad campaigns (for LIC) in terms of number of banners produced.
Founded the internet presence for Wunderman India and created the first ever online ad campaign for Taj Holidays. It was great to be part of such a moment in history for Wunderman and Taj Hotels.
My next project was to create a 90 page product web site for the new Tata Motors range of buses. The uniqueness of this web site was its buses virtual tour, that was a first of it's kind in its industry category.
Then I helped Sudler & Hennessey take it's first step into the cyber space with the launch of two diabetic footcare web sites www.savethefoot.com and www.plermin.com for their reputed pharma client - Dr. Reddy's. Both these websites were advertised nation wide during the World Diabetes Day.
For ING Vysya I launched India's first ever 'blog-based' life insurance marketing initiative - www.pickuradvisor.com. The success of it in India, led the initiative to be launched in the Hong Kong market.

I was selected from an audience of 20,000 people to go on stage and drink beer with Enrique Iglesias. I had the best seat in the concert for 4 full songs.
At work I was promoted to Project Manager Interactive and took on additional responsibilities at Rediffusion - DY&R, Wunderman India and Sudler & Hennessey.

I joined India’s 5th largest ad agency Rediffusion – DY&R and founded their digital division. The start was slow, but eventually my first client release came with the launch of an employee referral web site for AirTel, a new cell network operator in the western region of India. This was then followed by the founding of Rediffusion's own web site.
Glamour goes hand in hand with advertising and I got my chance to moon light as a model in Rediffusion's national caller tunes campaign for AirTel.

I got my first job as a Web Designer / Developer at Spenta Multimedia, a leading print firm in Mumbai. After founding their company website, I created a website for the book "Business Communication Today". Thats when I received my first set of write ups in two leading national newspapers.
One thing led to another and I managed to get my first international assignment, bang in my first year as a web professional. I was living the internet dream! With Namasté Software I was placed onsite at the Wunderman Germany office in Cologne. I supported the digital team at Wunderman with their HTML and graphic design requirements for the Ford Germany websites.

Not satisfied with just a basic website, I took up a graphics course at Zap Digital Design Academy to learn Photoshop, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Flash etc. Within the first month I was appointed as a Multimedia Course Instructor for the very course I had paid to learn.

This is the year where my journey on the web began. My summer computer course at NIIT led me to discover my passion for the Internet. I learnt HTML and started work on my first website.
