For those who haven’t yet disposed of their e-waste or just happen to own a large collection of devices with displays, here’s something fun to do with them. Rick Borovoy from MIT’s Center for Future Civic Media has revealed the Junkyard Jumbotron project that allows you to gang up multiple screens (phones, tablets, flat panels) into one single display.
The software is currently in beta and is capable of working with any internet capable gadget having a screen. In order to create the large display, users can simply assemble and connect the involved devices via the given website.
