Cobblestone QR Codes

To get into the minds of tourists, Turismo de Portugal decided to fuse the QR Code technology with Portugal’s historical cobblestone tradition. As a result they ended up creating the worlds first QR Code made from Portuguese cobblestones.

The first QR Code was embedded in the city grounds of Lisbon, followed by Barcelona which holds the distinction of being the world’s most visited city. The resounding success of the campaign has led to plans of similar QR Codes being embedded in cities like Berlin, Paris, Tokyo, New York, Viena, Goa, Lima, Oslo…

Smart eBall

At the Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA) in 2011, Daimler promoted its third generation ‘Smart for Two’ electric drive car with a special interactive game event. Berlin based agency, Proximity BBDO designed a special game called eBall that demonstrated the joy of driving a highly responsive Smart car.

Visitors were invited to sign up with their driver’s license, and then given instructions on forward and reverse before engaging in a live duel of Ping Pong that used laser measurement technology to keep track of the game.

Mercedes Key To Viano

For their customer Mercedes-Benz Vans, ad agency Lukas Lindemann Rosinski implemented an interactive outdoor event on Wall AG’s digital advertising displays in Berlin’s underground station Friedrichstrasse. This display blurred the line between classical outdoor advertising and interactive entertainment. Under the slogan “Key to Viano”, passers-by were offered the unprecedented opportunity to control the digital advertising displays using their own remote car keys…
