When Will It Goo

Cadbury along with agency MCsquared Dublin created an integrated advertising campaign that enlisted the support of the Irish public to help their giant Creme Egg release its Goo.

Eight rocking giant eggs protected in transparent cases were placed around Dublin. Fans were asked to tweet Goo using #tweet2goo or enter via the campaign Facebook app. Every Tweet and Facebook post caused the egg to get more egg-cited until it egg-sploded!

The entire Goo event was broadcasted live on the Cadbury Ireland Facebook page and participants were also automatically entered into a draw to win tickets to The London 2012 Olympic Games.

Cadbury “Keep Our Team Pumped”

Training for the Olympics is tough and so Cadbury has come up with its loudest campaign to date…Keep Our Team Pumped. Here the supporters of the Great Britain Olympics team can sing a series of motivational iconic power anthems to keep their team motivated during their long, hard training sessions before the big event in 2012.

Cadbury will release six tracks (two seen below) over the next seven months and will culminate with a finale in March 2012, which will feature a medley of the six songs created by the British public and a performance to the athletes of Team GB in London.

The Final Countdown

Simply the Best

The integrated campaign involves recruiting singers through social media, followed by a TV Campaign airing on 3rd October and running for 6 weeks. There will also be radio partnerships, events and digital media with extra support on-pack and in-store, rallying the British public to keep singing.

AR gaming via chocolate bar packaging!

Cadbury has launched an Augmented Reality gaming app that is activated via their chocolate bar packaging! The game is called Spots v Stripes and it uses Blippar’s image recognition technology and AR app platform.

The game is pretty easy to play, all one has to do is smack the ducks as fast as one can. The best score can then be shared socially.

Egg-splatting bus shelter

Only available from New Year’s Day to Easter Day, the Cadbury Creme Egg is one of the best selling confections in the U.S., Canada, and the United Kingdom.

In a bid to boost Creme Egg sales in the lead-up to Easter, Cadbury’s has come up with some really unique bus shelter in UK.

Cadbury's Creme Egg Game

Waiting for a bus is boring. Now though, you can fill this time by playing Cadbury’s first ever-interactive outdoor game called Splat the Egg.

Is this the future of advertising – every lamp post and bus shelter calling out to be stroked, touched or hit? 🙂

For those who wont have the chance to experience the real thing…you can have a go at the online version…
