Live interactive billboard against agression

Public service employees in the Netherlands face aggression and violence on the streets more and more often. Onlookers unfortunately do not intervene often enough when they encounter a situation like this. A live interactive billboard in Amsterdam and Rotterdam is used to place people in a similar situation which confronts them with their inactivity.

Holographic Poster

Age Comunicações from Brazil created a holographic poster of a parathlet and then put a ballot box in front of it. When someone stood exactly in front of the ballot box to make a donation the athlete would turn into a champion: a laurel wreath on his head and an Olympic medal on his chest would appear.

The line in the poster says “Our athletes’ performance depends on your donation. Help them.”

Vodafone bank note sticker

German agency Scholz & Friends came up with an innovative and clutter breaking way to promote Vodafone’s cheap roaming tariff for Europe to travellers within the European Union. All they did was modify the bank notes with stickers. These bank notes then reached the audience in a very special place i.e. in their wallet. 😎

The Axe Effect In Discos

Ad agency Lowe Ginkgo from Montevideo contracted various bars and discos in Uruguay for this unique brand activity. They had beautiful bar-girls serve a passion-red drink in a unique AXE GLASS, specially designed for the brand.

As the guys drank and the level of liquid descended, they undressed a gorgeous girl. As a result, at the end of the night, the AXE GLASS was the only one that didn’t end up on the floor, but in the guys homes.

The $73,000 Bar Tab!

How do you make people think twice about driving drunk when they dont think its a big deal? You make it a big deal.

Ogilvy Brasil with Bar Aurora and Boteco Ferraz added the real costs of drunk driving to peoples bar tabs. Thus speaking to them in the moment right before they decided whether to drink and drive or not.

First they got pissed, then they got the message. 🙂

Domino’s Pizza Holdouts

Domino’s terror campaign against consumers who can’t stand its pizza continues. Ad agency, Crispin Porter & Bogusky is back with a new facet to the “New Pizza” campaign. The brand sets out to harass three poor unsuspecting souls who have been ratted out as not eating Domino’s. 😆

The premise is that “only a handful” of people haven’t tried the new pizza recipe Domino’s came out with…

After this Domino’s has reported doubling its profits last quarter to $23.6 million.

3D holograms in the marketing world

3D holograms are a great way to attract and engage consumers. They can be quite effective if your brand is having trouble getting noticed or if your product’s capabilities can best be described using images and animation.

Though brands find it daunting to venture into this, there are still some brands out there bold enough to try it. Here are some nice examples…

Coca Cola In-Store Display

Samsung Jet Launch
